Sir,
Foreign Office, January 8, 1909. I AM directed by the Secretary of State to acknowledge receipt of your letter of the 23rd ultimo, inclosing copies of the texts of three Telegraph Agreements, recently signed by the Representatives of China and Japan, and requesting that you may be officially furnished with the texts of these Agreements.
I am to inform you, in reply, that we expect to receive copies of these documents shortly from His Majesty's Ambassador at Tokio, and that your desire to be furnished with them will be borne in mind.
